Hey VIMfam, we’ve got some exciting news! Over the next month we’ll be making the transition from Telegram to Discord as part of our strategy to provide a superior VIMworld community experience. Our official Discord launch party will be July 11th, 2022, so get the date in your calendars!

A New Dawn

We know many of you have been with us since our humble beginnings on Telegram. As a sign of our appreciation, we wanted to extend a Discord benefit to anyone who transfers from Telegram before July 11th — the ‘Telegram OG’ Server role!

1. This role will have access to Discord channel with archived Telegram chats
2. This role will signify your tenure with VIMworld

Discord is a user-friendly platform where all of our content can live simultaneously. Unlike Telegram where discussion is a single streaming chat, Discord offers the ability to categorise discussion topics and create channels that cover any and all aspects of VIMworld.

As for Telegram, we will leave our server up for one month after the Discord launch date. After August 11th, we will officially shut down the Telegram server and be fully Discord based.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Discord, we have put together a step by step tutorial on how to join the Server below!

Joining VIMworld’s Discord — Step By Step

To ensure migration is as painless as possible, we’ve put together a guide for your ease of reference.

1. Download Discord and create an account. Go to Telegram and click on Discord Invite Link

2.  Click on the ‘Accept Invite’ button

3. Once you have accepted the invitation, go to the Verify channel

4. In the Verify channel, read and react to the pinned message by clicking on the VIMworld emoji

5. Once you have reacted to the Verify channel message, you will be assigned the VIMfam role which will give you access to the rest of the Discord server

And that’s it! You’re now in the VIMworld Discord server and ready to join us for the next steps in our epic journey. We’re looking forward to sharing with you all what we’ve been working on over on Discord!
